Unlock your past with DNA Solutions from only Rs XXX

DNA SOLUTIONS offers a wide range of different genetic tests to determine different biological relationships. Ask us the question you are trying to answer and select the people needed to be tested to find the answer of that vital question. For example, you may want to know if your family is related to another family. To find this, you would have to select several male descendants from both families and then compare the results of their DNA tests. A match would then prove a common ancestral line.

DNA SOLUTIONS can provide you various tests, such as a Y chromosome test for male lineage or a test between siblings. Simply choose the biological relationship that you wish to test from the list given below.

Personalised Paternal Wall Chart - Rs XXX

Personalised Paternal Wallchart A DNA paternal Wall Chart displays and reveals your ancestral line beginning from the prehistoric days. More recently, the Y chromosome present in the nuclear DNA is being used to establish your genetic heritage. Males have one Y chromosome and one X chromosome (whilst females have two X chromosomes and no Y chromosome). The Y chromosome is continually passed from the biological father to the son crossing all the barriers of generations. Scientists from all across the world have studied the Y chromosome profiles from various races and tribes from all corners of earth, and have now discovered that the lineage of your male ancestors could be found and the particular type of Y profile you have inherited could establish a definite ancestral lineage.

There are two types of DNA: Mitochondrial DNA and Nuclear DNA

The mitochondrial DNA follows the maternal lineage. You have inherited your mother’s mitochondrial DNA, since she has her mother’s mitochondrial DNA. The Y chromosome of the nuclear DNA passes from father to son. Therefore, your Y DNA profile associates you with a particular group. The Y chromosomal DNA test (usually referred to as Y DNA or Y-Line DNA) is only available for males. Y chromosome testing is mostly used by individuals with the same surname to discover if they share a common ancestor.

Our service accurately describes your genetic heritage from the beginning of humanity in Africa and details your ancestors' history over tens of thousands of years as the human race gradually increased in population on the earth. A specific trail showing the route your own ancestors took during specified migrations describes their journey. The wall chart also describes the genes that determine your own genetic line and describes with both text & imagery how your ancestors' story fits into the family tree of the human race.

For example: Group R1a1 (M17) This marker arose between 10,000 - 15,000 years ago when a male of European origin was born on the grassy steppes, in the region of present-day Ukraine or southern Russia.

The following map shows in basic form, the migration routes of the different Y types.

Personalised Maternal Wallchart - Rs XXX

Personalised Maternal Wallchart The DNA Mother wall-chart service unlocks the story of the ancient ancestors through the maternal lines. The mitochondrial DNA is inherited from a mother to her child and it passes from the mother to the child without any shuffling. Scientific analysis of mitochondrial DNA establishes the genetic heritage through the female line.

During sexual reproduction, sperm from the father joins an egg from the mother. The female egg contains special packets of DNA (mitochondrial DNA). The child born, if female and one day bears her own children, will pass on the exact same mitochondrial DNA onto her own children. Over thousands of generations, the mitochondrial DNA is passed down the female family line. Men and women both can be tested for their Mother's genetic line.

The DNA sequence in the mitochondrial DNA and its evaluation reveals where your ancestors descended from and how they arrived there. Your specific type of mitochondrial DNA will associate you with a certain Group. DNA Solutions analyses your genetic line back to the beginnings of humanity in Africa and follows your ancestors' progress over thousands of years as the human race as populations increased. A map showing the particular route your own ancestors took during this period will describe and provide imagery of history and journeys undertaken. The wall chart also includes your individual genes that distinguish your own genetic line and proves how your ancestors' past formed until date.

Scientists all over the world have developed the history and migration of different groups by hundreds of in-depth genetic studies over more than a decade. There are over 20 different groups, and many of those are further divided to subgroups, allowing us to obtain more detailed information on your ancestral history.

To accurately construct a representative chart of your genetic heritage the studies looked at:

  1. DNA sequencing ethnic groups from all over the world
  2. DNA sequencing bone fragments from archaeological sites found around the world

For example: Group I originating 30,000 years ago is found in Mediterranean regions (in both Arabian and European centers), Group Q are descendants of the southern pacific regions (in particular New Guinea and Melanesia), Group J is found prominently in Russia and eastern Europe. It was born roughly 10,000 years ago, in - or near - Mesopotamia, and migrated into Europe.

As an example the map below shows in basic form, a migration route of some of the different types.

How it works

When DNA is passed from one generation to the next, most of it gets mixed up and creates unique individuals. However, some special parts remain unchanged. One such part is the Y chromosome DNA, which is passed from father to son intact, crossing the barriers of generations. Another special part is mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), which is passed from mother to child. The DNA in Y chromosome does not change and thus allows men to track their paternal linkage back to some 1,50,000 years. Similarly the mtDNA allows both men and women to find out their maternal linkage back to prehistoric ages.

Both the mtDNA and Y-chromosome DNA undergo mutation occasionally and this phenomenon creates ‘inheritable genetic markers’. It has been observed that, after several generations almost all male and female inhabitants of a region bear this marker. Therefore, when they leave a particular region, they carry it along. This fact helps in establishing the migration pattern of the human race.

At DNA Solutions, we collect and analyse your mouth swab and trace your family history and position your family tree in the global family tree. Our personalised genetic wall charts shows the journey of your ancestral lineage right from our African motherland to where it is today.

Our tests establish the connection as far back as prehistoric ages. Our expert team of esteemed scientists analyse your mouth swab skillfully. We identify key genetic markers within your unique DNA and compare these with our database of genetic information from thousands of men and women living all across the planet. We will also examine your DNA’s genetic profile, giving us a precise understanding of your ancestral background.

The story of your ancient ancestors will be presented to you on a personalised genetic heritage wall chart. The high-quality wall charts will be printed on high quality paper, to ensure that you can pass this family heirloom on to future generations. Our informative wall charts are available in either A4 or A3 and can be displayed in a modern design or a traditional design.
